Each book is reviewed to ensure healthy theology and quality in our publications. Our current review board includes:
1. Todd Littleton
Todd Littleton is the pastor of Snow Hill Baptist Church in Tuttle, OK, where he has served since 1994. He is husband to Patty since 1983 and “Daddy” to Kimberly and Tommie who decided it is best to live with their respective husbands. Recently, Todd became a new Grandpa to Cohen Alan. Todd earned his B.A. (Religion w/Minor in History) from Oklahoma Baptist University, M.Div (1988) and D.Min (1993) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is an adjunct Professor at Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA. Lifelong learning ventures have given Todd an occasion to interact with a diverse group of Christian theologians and practitioners. For those times of needed relaxation and rest he enjoys the Colorado Mountains with Patty, photography, and time with friends and family.
2. Joel Rainey
(M.Div., Ed.D. The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Director of the Mid-Maryland Baptist Association, a missional network of more than 50 churches located in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area. He has authored numerous articles for publication, including entries for the most recent edition of the Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary, and is author of the forthcoming book Church Planting in the Real World. He and his wife Amy live in central Maryland with their two sons, and are members of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Glenwood.
3. Spencer Haygood
B. Spencer Haygood has a B.A. in Christian Studies from North Greenville University and an Advanced M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has contributed to the Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary and has written book reviews for Perspectives on Science and Christian Faith and the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society. Spencer currently serves as the Pastor for Preaching and Vision at Orange Hill Baptist Church in North Metro Atlanta and as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Brewton Parker College.
4. Emily Hunter McGowin
Emily Hunter McGowin has a B.A. from Criswell College and M.Div. from Truett Theological Seminary. Her articles have been published in Faith and Mission, Baptist History and Heritage, and Truett Journal of Church and Mission. She has made contributions to several books, including the Women’s Evangelical Commentary and the Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics. Emily serves with her husband, Ron, at Liberty Heights Church in Liberty Township, OH, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of Akron.
